Time for High School Counselor to respond to an email?

I’m surprised at all of you who are getting responses. Every time I’ve emailed, I either got no response but was advised by my kids that the request had been taken care of (like a class change request was done) or I got an acknowledgment of the email and a note saying they would talk to my child.
