Weirdly Costco spanikopita and mini quiches from the freezer section were very popular here. My kids' friend groups have a lot of vegetarians. They would also love Mac and cheese I'm sure. Fruit and veggie platters also get eaten. |
I served these at a party for a kid and they were so popular I got mobbed bringing out fresh batches. Zero leftovers. Hebrew National frozen ones. |
Similarly, I've done buckets of Auntie Anne's pretzel nuggets (variety of pigs in blanket, pepperoni, and cinnamon/sugar) and they're always a huge hit with kids and adults. |
We did subs from Wegmans and a chicken nugget tray from Chick Fila. Zero leftovers (and it was a ridiculous amount of food). |
I always got a shrimp cocktail platter for parents and bottles of wine. I hate that parents schlepp their kids out and there’s no fun for them. I see you parents! |
For first graders I'd do any/all of the following: mac and cheese, dino nuggets, chicken tenders, fries, pizza, fruit and veggie trays, cheese and crackers. My first grader and many other first graders would not eat sandwiches. By third or so, yes, but not in first. |
