| Of the two names, Trent is better. |
Neither. What is your other boy name Camden? |
Brooklyn seems more feminine to me..Brooke LYNN |

What about Shane, Nate, Jake?
My name is Beth and the short e vowel soft has been my own name pet peeve. |

My initial reaction to the title of this thread was that it was the Real Estate forum and I wondered where Trent was located, because I know that Trenton is in NJ.
Go with Trent. |

Do you feel comfortable telling us you other kids' names?
Trent is much better than Trenton. But I like the suggestions of Shane, Nate, and Jake, too. Would love to know more about your style. |
First thing I thought of. But I’m also a NJ native. |
My dog’s father’s name was Trent, and his father’s name was Brett. |
I think Trent is fine. Not my style, but doesn't immediately make me think of NJ. Congratulations, OP!

+1 I dislike both but Trenton is especially bad. |
I agree, especially about New Jersey. Not a good connotation to have and Trent sounds very low class to me. |
How do you know your dog’s grandfather’s name? |
| I prefer Trent. It makes me think of the character in Dead Witch Walking. Love that series. |
He’s a retired racing greyhound, so careful records have been kept and I can look up his pedigree online going back 30 generations. He grandfather was a superior racer in Australia and he was named after a cricket player named Brett Lee. Grandad was such a good racer that he fathered more than 4,000 offspring around the world, earning over $15 million in stud fees. |
