Adding teenager to policy

If he is at college more than 100 miles away it isn’t that expensive.

He is 18. Not a child.

An eighteen yr. old Male will have a very high premium for the first few yrs.

Most people receive their insurance stuff electronically so they do not always carry an insurance card.

Why would I pay hundreds of dollars a month for son's insurance if I don't intend to ever let him drive my car?

When he cares enough about driving and is a real adult, he can work and pay for his own insurance, gas, and parking tickets.

Have your son make a copy of the insurance card in the vehicle. YOU call the insurance company and ask the questions.
