Principal is there opening doors every day and calling parents. Possibly this is how they divide labor, but only the exec director responds to comments on parentsquare.

Except she hosts monthly charlas with families including this morning. I've also seen her at drop off and pick up. It's fine not to like the ED and to talk about poor experiences you have had with her but to say she has zero engagement with families would be innaccurate.

NP: Just a clarification - tonight is the second only Charla so far in the school year. And they have very narrow focus so not open discussions per se. You may be thinking of the Cafecitos.

I'm not sure I have seen Charis at drop-off TBH but I also don't pick up from school. I really like the assistant principal, Michelle and have had the most contact with her. She knows my whole family and always comes across as warm and caring. The Principal...eh, I don't know.

I think it is fair to say that while Charis does some engagement with families, it never comes across as something that she enjoys doing. It's like she is counting down the minutes until the hour is up.
