Look for results that you can see right away. Increased energy, less junk food cravings, less stress, better sleep, feeling stronger or clearer.

Weight loss may take a month or two if your body needs time for all your hormones etc to adjust.

This has been my strategy too for several years now. With moderate exercise (power walk 30min twice a day, plus yoga and Pilates one time a week) I find I am not gaining any weight while other women my age are gaining fast. Am now 48 and in peri-menopause.
