| There’s arguments to be made either way. I’ve been WFH for over a decade and certainly never got any consideration for water or power shutoffs in the past. I imagine it’s more of a balance now. I do think there’s something to be said for cutting power during the day when it’s warmer and people have natural light. Either way, people will complain. |
Which council member got his street closed? Which street? |
NO ONE seemed to care that the city council and the mayor voted to allow that 0.9 mile bike lane, that cost over $1,000,000, that was basically for the head of BPAC to have a bike lane connecting his daughter’s house to his house, all with a crosswalk right in front of his house (that no one uses, no one, it’s a pointless crosswalk, he got his blind friends to literally lobby for it because he works with a bunch of blind charities). His daughters blabbed all about it thinking the community would think their father is so clever. But there was backlash. Don’t worry, same guy is spearheading the Duke street changes. What he wants, Wilson and the city council give. All those complaints re the bike lane fiasco, and they all got re-elected. It’s like Trump in reverse, they could do ANYTHING and the Wilson mafia would still vote for all of them. |
