We have a ballard design outdoor rug in our entry hallway- it has held up better than any other rug I've tried to use (discount, other indoor/outdoor ones etc). Highly recommend going the ballard route. We have young kids (and cats) that really give that rug a workout too.

So Ballard is the same family of brands as Grandin Road, but Grandin is the less-expensive brand. If you like Ballard's stuff, you may want to check out Grandin's rugs, which are frequently on sale.

Also, I have found the exact same rugs that Grandin Road sells on Overstock for less, like the following examples ($350 on Grandin, $170 on Overstock for same large rug)

I would also personally not go with any kind of a jute or jute-mix rug under a dining room table. We had one for awhile and I didn't like how the fibers wore, plus the fiber stain easily and are hard to clean IMO.
