i have one that wants:
Bounty/Almond Joy Snickers Butterfingers ANother that only wants: Charm Blowpops/DumDums Sourpatch kids or similar Gummy bears or similar So really, just buy whatever. Kids trade, or they eat it or don't. Can't please everyone, as more than 5 minutes on DCUM will show you.

I am actually shocked how similar these answers are!
I have two kids, one with a nut allergy. They pick what they want at houses and then do a massive trade that night. It's actually pretty helpful to parents to note that almost all peanut candy comes in an orange or yellow package. |

No allergies here, but my kids do this too. One prefers the Reeses, Snickers (no orange packaging) and the like, and the other prefers Twix, KitKat, etc. Clearly one likes peanuts and the other doesn't (which is good for them trading), but the common denominator is chocolate! |
I cover all the bases. One bowl with candy containing nuts, one bowl with nut free candy and other foods (pretzels or Goldfish) and a bowl with non food items, like slime or Play Dough. |
