I'm a neutral runner, and these are my favorites, too. OP, I echo everyone else -- maybe try a different running store. |
If you want cushion the answer is Hokas. Nothing squishier. |
I too am a Hoka person and I just splurged on the new Bondi 8 model. It feels like it has a firmer mid-sole than the earlier Bondis. I love them!! |
+1 on ASICS running shoes. I tried many models and they are all great. Currently my favorite are Cumulus. They are around $120-130. I used to get shin splints with other shoes. |
This is op and thank you for all the suggestions! I'll definitely go back to a running store but also have done great recs I can actually try at the store too if they carry them. One of the challenges with the running store I went to was limited stock so trying a different one makes sense. And to the pp who I asked what I was looking for - I know I don't run a lot but I do really enjoy it and am trying to focus on having good form/stride and making sure my shoes are comfortable. These ones I have feel heavy for me so that's why I was curious for a new option. |
