Say what you want, but the Republicans are really good at affirmative action. If they can find one member who isn’t an old white guy, they’ll put them up. Crazy, authoritarian, questionable intelligence, speaking in tongues, wearing white stockings to the shooting range? Sure. Good enough. |

Not really. She gets to be an individual, with her own individual political beliefs, for her own individual reasons. While I personally wonder about her motives and her goals, it’s not something I give much thought to — beyond being glad that I live in a state that’s more supportive of females, BIPOC, immigrants, and veterans than her state seems to be. |
