Does anyone live in Florida?

Anonymous
We have lots of flooding, power outages, and wind/storm damage in the Orlando area. Luckily very few deaths. It set a new record for rainfall. There are still flooded roads, but the water has been receding. Ian was terrifying while it was happening, and I'm grateful we made it through ok. Thanks for asking, OP.

Wow. This is your response to a poster asking how people in Florida are doing after a natural disaster that resulted in lots of people (including lots of very poor people who are now homeless) losing their homes, businesses, and schools, and even some deaths?

Go search deep within yourself to find a shred of humanity.

One of them arrived in Florida on Monday, the other on Tuesday. One of them called me Thursday with an update and said they were staying in camps, and there was no water in that area. He said they'll be there for a while. He was down there for two weeks after Hurricane Michael. I haven't had another update, they work long hrs when they're on storm damage. Prayers for everyone.

Your sons do amazing work. You must be very proud of them!

Why should this board stop dumping on a state that they routinely dump on? I don't think any state gets more ridicule that Florida. All. The. Time. Just because Florida is going through a horrible time? No one really cares. Dumping on Florida is sport. Until they want to go on vacation and their plans are ruined. Then cry me a river.
