Can MCPS students use RideOns for free?

If your school is giving you a hassle about the Youth Smarttrip card, just go to your local library and they'll give you one. I think it's $5. DD goes to private and they don't offer them at her school.

Really no need to pay $5. Just use student ID.

The reason to have one is that kid can use the same card all around the DC area including metro. It’s all on one card. Payment or not.
