Another vote for Ford Escape. Surprisingly zippy, handles well, and a good form factor. I’ve had mine for 8 years - no issues. |
They absolutely ARE. They weigh more than most cars, they’re taller, can’t see around them, and crush other vehicles in a crash. That’s a behemoth in my book. |
| Avoid Ourisman Rockville like the plague. When I bought a year ago they had the highest markups in the area plus they wanted to charge $500 for nitrogen in the tires. I found the same car at Ourisman Laurel for a $2k markup, which sucked, but I really wanted that particular car which is still in high demand. Also check out their Yelp review, some pretty shady stuff is going on. |
Haha. The air we breathe is 78% nitrogen. Costco will fill with nitrogen for free. It offers negligible benefit other than a slightly slower rate of pressure loss. |
If you think CRV's and Rav4's are behemoths, what do you think of Suburbans, Expeditions and full size trucks? |
| consider CX30 or Crosstrek. |
| OP, have you looked at the plug in Kia Niro? You'll save on gas and it's priced very reasonably, if you can find one. |
Both of those are crap. The Volvo because it’s a Volvo, and the Subaru because of the CVT and leaky head gaskets. |
CX-30 is a Mazda, not a Volvo, and I love mine. |
