Foreign language requirement and dyslexia - MCPS

In private school in MoCo which teaches language starting in elementary. We asked for language waiver to be written into the neuropsych report and then school waived it. Our ASDEC tutor strongly recommended NOT studying a language at school, but perhaps that is because DC only in 4th grade.

Grandparent also has mild dyslexia and many years ago could speak French but couldn’t read/write it well and nearly failed it in high school and college.
