Did not feel much difference, but had different, serious complications.
With DC1, I had IUGR that was discovered at 22 weeks. Close monitoring and finally induction at 36 weeks. With DC2, I had complete placenta previa during most of the pregnancy. Fortunately it resolved on its own around 36 weeks. I then had an uncomplicated, full term birth. |

Pregnancies were very similar in terms of how I felt during them. Both were healthy and easy, with fast deliveries at 40+ weeks.
First was induced at 40+1, 7h total from pitocin to delivery, 8# baby girl. Hated the induction, tried to avoid second time around. (Neither needed the overnight cervix gel step) Second induction scheduled for 40+5, but went into labor overnight. 4-5h from contractions to delivery of a giant baby boy! That was the biggest difference, babies were 2.5# apart. |
| First trimester was much worse with my first than my second. Pretty much no morning sickness for the second. Remainder of both pregnancies was pretty similar - felt decent, no major complications, babies arrived on their own on or very near due date. |
I also had much less nausea with the second (both boys). I was really sick with the first--ended up in the ER from dehydration. But never threw up with the second (didn't feel perfect but nothing like the first). But after the first trimester, my first pregnancy was pretty easy. I definitely gained more weight and felt more pressure with the second--my body was still in recovery mode I guess (they are 2 years apart). |

Mine were pretty similar. All had hyperemesis, all had fairly decent 2nd tris, all had varying degrees of preeclampsia at the end.
Pregnancy sucks. |
| Yes, very similar in terms of pretty uncomplicated, only some mild nausea in the first trimester (only puked 1x each pregnancy). Second was harder in the end bc I was also caring for a toddler full time so my body was more exhausted. Induced with both and had very very similar labor & deliveries too. |
| Mine were absolutely identical- same symptoms to the same degree and at the same time. Identical weight gain. I had a girl and then a boy 3 years later. So none of those symptoms predicting gender were accurate for me! |

Yeah, they sucked
