We are considering both schools for our son as well as a few other programs in the area.

thanks!

You need to go to inside lacrosse website and look at all the years they post. One year isn’t going to tell you much.

How are the local schools doing with 24 recruiting so far? Most of the first round must be slowing down at this point.

What does any of this matter? I don’t think college recruiting is built around a fantasy draft model….schools want players that are a good fit with their current programs… I don’t think they seek out to grab players based on a ranking or who they play for….

Why does it matter? What is the point of a forum on lacrosse? I think it is of interest to any who follow HS lacrosse. Some of the 2024's last played HS lacrosse as Sophomore's on strong teams they may not have been starters but looking at the upcoming season if a player has kids commit it may indicate they have a strong improving Junior class as the recruits must have played well over the summer. For the most part the top kids are well known but in Sophomore to Senior seasons, some improve, some level off. STA has a really strong recruiting in the 2023 class what does 2024 look like?

Is that St Andrews or St Albans? I know it is early but what about the other IAC and WCAC schools?

Just go to inside lacrosse. All this info is there.

Lacrosse bucket has dates of commits. Interesting to see which positions the programs look to fill first.

Can you imagine paying all that money to send your kid to Landon, and he ends up at Delaware? My god

STA’s ‘23 class is an anomaly. The seniors have six recruits for lacrosse, not sure that has ever happened at STA before (in any sport). There are zero ‘24 recruits (which is more typical) and STA will return to its normal one or two commits after the ‘23s graduate.

and STA will most likely finish 2nd to last place in the IAC this Spring.
