Why is middle school so early?

That might be worse for parents, but better for many ES kids. They get up earlier and it also eliminates the need for before school care for many.

ES parent who would have no problem with an early start time like that. They're up early and get tired early.

ES parent who would have no problem with an early start time like that. They're up early and get tired early.

So tired of hearing this. Not all ES kids are early risers. Mine had to be woken up at 7:30 am and it was still hard. And they went to bed by 8:30/9! 7 years of early start time for ES would have killed us. I can handle two years of MS.

I'd rather have my go to schoolea4lier so they can get out earlier. No reason for school to go past 2:30 or 3.

Middle school buses start at 6:15 am.
