Anything good on Apple TV?

If you like lighthearted, The Afterparty, Schmigadoon, and Loot are good. I really loved Severance, but it is a bit creepy, although not mob, crime, or “foreign”.

Pachinko, 5 days at memorial, loot, we crashed

Another vote for Severance - thought I'd hate it but ended up obsessed with it and it gets better and better - last 3 episodes are insane.

Also can't wait to start Loot - I'm behind in my viewing. And I'll give Slow Horses a try.

I guess Acapulco could be considered foreign so you might not like it--it's partly in Spanish and takes place in Mexico. But it's really adorable, funny, heartwarming, and easy to follow (even with subtitles).

Anonymous wrote:Mythic Quest was awesome and a new season is coming soon. Their Covid episode was truly one of the best reflections of that time that I've seen yet.

I also recommend Severance (also didn't think I would like it and ended up adoring it - the last episode this season was one of the finest on television in the past couple years).

i really enjoyed Loot with Maya Rudolph - that had heart - almost (but not quite) filling the Ted Lasso-sized hole in my heart.

I also enjoyed Dickinson - a retelling/reimagining of Emily Dickinson's life.

OP here - You win. Rob McElhenney is such a doofus on IASIP but he fits this role perfect. And he's SO hot, I can't get over how hot he is.

OP again - thank you to the others for the suggestions. I will keep this thread in my Bookmarks and go through the rest of the suggestions!

I really liked Loot, too.

Physical is not quite really good but I still really liked watching it. I hope it's coming back for another season.

We just started The Resort and it's also not *quite* good but I'm pretty hooked.

Keep meaning to watch For All Mankind and Severance!

DP and as a head’s up, Physical has some pretty graphic depictions of bulimia. I cringed through way too much of it, not just because of that. It’s too much.

Five Days at Memorial is wonderful - sometimes hard to watch, but so well done.
