| Yes. |
| Pfefferminz is the best, followed by the biscuit and the whole hazelnut. Worth the extra price. |

I don't like them as they're far too sweet. But they don't taste as bad as American chocolate, IMO.
I think that Lindt is better. |
| Better than Hershey's, sure, but that's a very low bar to step over. I don't think they're great chocolate compared to better-quality American or European brands. And I agree that they're too sweet. |
| Yes, almost any 1st world country’s commercial chocolate offerings will be better than ours. We can compete in the “artisan” chocolate market though, IMO. |
I love most of them and have never had a gross one. They aren’t hard to find here anymore. Giant is a good source. |
Lindt always tastes cheap and waxy to me. |
|
I love the dark chocolate marzipan.
I thought World Market went bust a few years ago, no? |
|
I don't know but I love the marzipan ones too.
I've never seen the vanilla mousse ones. Once I try that, it may become my new favorite. |

The EU has very strict controls on what ca. be labeled chocolate. There was a big issue at one time because Cadbury did not meet the standards because it had too much milk fat and not enough cocoa butter. Maybe that was the first step in brexit.
I like hersheys too (plus mostly union made!) but it’s sort of a different thing. All things being equal, my favorites are see’s (also union made!) and toblerone. |
| Good flavors. Not the highest quality. Rodman or the German Deli in Falls Church. The Mediterranean Bakery sometimes has a unique flavor geared toward the Turks. |
Wasn't one of the more popular American "artisan" chocolates sort of exposed as a total scam? One in Brooklyn. Mast bros? |
| Rittersport is from Stuttgart. Cool factory tour if you are ever there but they are seen as run of the mill. Yes the quality is slightly higher than US but that’s just because EU factory controls and standards are higher. My favorite is the cornflake one too or the mint. |
| They’re just normal, like Toblerone. Streets sells the minis at checkout. |
| Too much sugar for me. |
