| Crazy. We need to take a hard line on criminals. Things are getting out of control. |
| This is scary. 6pm on a major road? |
|
This is becoming so common— so many of the carjackings/armed robberies on the Hill and in NE are being committed by teens. Why aren’t more people talking about how this is an inevitable result of shuttering schools for a year, leaving many teenagers who are susceptible of falling into this kind of behavior twisting in the wind? Is it surprising that we suddenly have a bunch of 13-17 yr olds running around robbing people? How many of these kids just kind of disappeared from DCPS during the closures? |
| I always found it strange that in DC of all places, no one seems to organize any protests or camp out in front of the mayor's home to draw attention to their failure to address crime. How many people have to die? |
He will give the shooters a very stern hug. |
| This is what progressive policies look like. No deterrence. No penalties. The outcome is predictable. |
+100 Why is anyone shocked or surprised? Voters are getting what they voted for. |

He’ll live unlike the young man who was executed while installing solar panels.
This city is a joke. Schools, bad healthcare, take $100M in tax money and do nothing for the homeless. |
Yes, this 100%. |

I did looked over some recent shootings and was surprised to see teens were the shooters. Sometimes, teens were shooting back.
The shootings happened in the 3-6 range. So, now I go out in the early morning, figuring the teen shooters will be asleep. But then, of course, the adult shooters may be awake. #LifeInAmerica |
| Turns out it's not enough to write really tough gun laws or hire a million cops. At some point, those people have to actually enforce the laws. |
|
Which means they can do this with impunity until they are 26. And then they can get started on their real life if crime. This is just warm ups. Thanks Charles Allen and the rest of our city council! |
This has nothing to do with school closures and everything to do with culture. |
Shhhhh….can’t say that here. |
Has anyone interviewed the kids and asked them what went through their mind when they caiiy a gun and try to rob random people or carjacking on the street? Have they never thought someone could be injured or die? What if their family members or fiends became targets? |
