Northeastern pre professional for what? |
disagree on this |
An undecided kid doesn’t need a pre professional school. |
Olin? If engineering is your thing. |
interesting. why? |
We are on a 'College and University Discussion forum' |
I agree with PP that your kid doesn't necessarily need pre-professional, choice of major will make the difference in what you are describing. That said - any program that is in business, education, nursing will be pre-professional. |
Pretty strong on Engineering, CS, and also Business with the #1 COOP program, so could be viewed as pre-professional oriented. |
For smaller schools:
Colgate Dickinson Franklin & Marshall Furman Gettysburg Kalamazoo Lehigh Muhlenberg Rhodes Trinity University of Richmond Ursinus Wake Forest |
Notre Dame |
Duke
Northwestern Wash U Emory UVA Colgate Union Bucknell Lehigh the business school anywhere |
Not in my experience |
+1 |
Fordham would be an excellent choice for business, but not for pre-med. |
Pre-professional can mean different things. It can mean everyone is focused on the first job they get right out of college, as opposed to being interested in having an intellectual experience. Or it can mean that lots of students there will end up applying to PhD programs, law school, med school, etc.. after getting a liberal arts degree. |
