Our civil discourse is pretty low right now. Incivility isn't ideal but it's better than dead schoolchildren.

I think he had an authentic and genuine response to a grotesque heckler. Why do Democrats always have to rise above, while your R elected leaders are literally calling for civil war? Incivility!?! Once you accept blowing up children individually, you can’t talk about incivility.

And yes politicians are supposed to address evils that affect our pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. Getting rid of guns and ammunition (especially automatic rifles) will be a good first step to that end. He deserves political points.
