They have to stick around until the last kid is picked up, but it's always easier when the number of kids they have to watch decreases as the day goes on...

It depends. During naptime is always a problem. During an activity is a problem, unless they knew ahead of time. But if you're able to tell them on Thursday that you'll pick up the following day at three, that's perfect. |
I think the question, is it disruptive, is a reasonable question. Does it matter to the class if some kids are leaving and some are not. Does it make kids sad to remain. Maybe that would make the childcare worker's job harder. I don't know but I would have guessed that was the question. |
