And I love that Herend pattern-- my mother has it!

I loved Liberty by Lenox back in the day, but DH didn't like it. It's now discontinued.

I still think it's great.

I loved Lenox China. My favorites were Tosca and Hancock. I used to work for them while I was in college.

I’ve always loved Wedgwood’s Wild Strawberry.

I inhereted about 20 teacup/saucers in this pattern. I love it but I must say, I don't have tea parties so it doesn't get used....

My favorite is the other set of inhereted white china from Rothschild- it's simple with a raised pearl around the perimeter and a slight gold rim. I use it all the time-anytime I have more than 8 for dinner (I have a set of 20 place settings).

pp- not Rothschild-.... It's Rosenthal Bavarian

Tiffany Audubon for me.

Plus, I have several sets from grandparents such as Coalport Cairo, and this is after giving a few sets away. I turned down MIlL’s china. My sister also has about 3-4 inherited sets. Both sets of grandparents really loved to entertain….

So my two children (sister has no kids) are going to inherit 6-8 complete sets of china. They seem only mildly interested, although DS has claimed the Royal Crown Derby Red Aves. I need to unload some more china, but I stop every time I consider giving 30-50% commission to somebody. The housecleaning family was thrilled with the Wedgwood I gave them. I wish it were like stock and likely to appreciate, but sadly that’s not the case.

I’m the Wild Strawberry lover from upthread, and I ADORE Red Aves. Your son has excellent taste! It was my cousin’s wedding china, and seeing it all laid together, it’s just so gorgeous.

Thanks! I like Wild Strawberry too. I also like OP’s pattern—some people here are just rude!
