Sigh…people really lack self awareness. I had the exact same experience in Italy a few months ago. However I realized that not only did I walk more, I was on my feet doing and seeing things most of the day. I slept better because we had been doing and seeing things all day. I didn’t snack and there were no evening or late night leftovers.
If you had honestly tracked every calorie and standing and walking minute compared to a work week and a vacation week you would see that your routine I. The US was more sedentary and higher calorie than your routine on vacation. |
Actually this was s a good point. Air travel especially long flights is very dehydrating. I’m always a few lbs thinner after a long flight. |
