Tell me you know nothing about this Jewish celebration without telling me you know nothing about this Jewish celebration.

I would. It’s sort of like asking if you’d give a bday and Christmas gift.

Give 1 gift for both.

Get a nice birthday gift then throw ten bucks in the envelope for the mitzvah.

Just one gift is plenty.

I’d buy a gift gift for the Birthday and give a small check under10 bucks for the bat mixa.

I’d send a card with a small gift for the birthday and save the bulk of the money for the bat mitzvah gift.

No.

The bat mitzvah is the more important occasion and the gift amount should reflect that. As a parent, I’d be perfectly ok with the bat mitzvah card and gift that year.

The birthday is obviously the more important of the occasions and preferential treatment for gifts.

Never heard of bat mizvag so I’d give a birthday gift and let someone else deal with the other thing.

Aren't Bar/Bat Mitzvah's the religious celebration of turning 13?
