Post bac programs

I have a family member that is starting med school this fall after working and taking the med school pre-reqs post college. She did the pre-reqs at a flagship state university but in the evening with students that were not undergrads and said it was a much more collegial environment than doing these classes with undergrad would have been. Excellent experience and this student graduated from an HYP undergrad but not with a science major. Decided to do this after finishing a masters in public health.

I have a masters in public health and getting that while completing prerequisites is a good idea rather than a post bac where you don’t get any additional credentials.

My DS is pre med and he read that med schools don’t like to see the pre-reqs taken at community colleges.

Have a relative doing a post bacc for CS. It's working out great for her.
