Fresh Baguette is in Rockville too

FB is solid but fyi all their breads are sourdough-based. Not my favorite, so I go to Boulangerie Christophe in Potomac or Bread Furst in NW instead.

Boulangerie Christophe in Potomac is about 15 mins away. Winner winner chicken dinner! Or maybe bready dinner! My husband and I are unreasonably excited about it.

It’s the opposite of good and crusty.

Totally agree! Kinda. Not gummy. Doughy. Fluffy. Not crusty at all.

OP here. I ended up with an Italian loaf from Best Buns Bakery. It was good! We had some pasta with it. No spring rolls because Safeway had no rice paper circles.
