What's your most controversial food opinion?

Cheesecake is so gross. It’s literally the only sweet thing I will not eat.

Kale needs to go away. I've tried and tried and just don't like. I'm so tired of every other recipe or menu item having kale involved.

It was one of my big pregnancy aversions and I still want to throw up when it appears on menus. There are plenty of things that aren't better with kale.

Why is it crazy?

Many people who give up meat do it for ethical reasons, not because they don't like meat.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with vegetarians eating meat substitutes. There's nothing inherently unethical about the concept of a nugget that would make eating a vegetarian version hypocritical.

This is absolute blasphemy and the first real controversial opinion here. To the gallows!

You may not like or understand it but no, it isn't "crazy"

It's terribly unhealthy. Pea protein? Isolated what?

I would go vegetarian today if I could buy meat substitutes that didn't look like over-processed junk food when reading the ingredients.

Salad is not healthy unless you are just eating it to cool down your body in the summer or something.
Raw green veg = slows down your metabolism.
Especially because they usually require adequate amounts of dressing (oil) to make it edible.

I’m with you, PP. I think the fake meat is better for the environment but not your body. Eating whole unprocessed foods is best, whether vegetable or meat.

Cheerios smell like urine.

Getting fast food for dinner every once in awhile is NBD. My car broke down the other night and I walked over to In N' Out while I waited for help and it was delicious. A few months ago I mentioned McDonald's at work and my coworkers were horrified, apparently they thought I ate 'healthy'. Every few months I get that craving for a cheeseburger and salty, greasy fries and I get it, enjoy it, and don't want it again for another couple months.

I intensely dislike mint and won't eat anything with it

Cows milk (or any other animal that is not human)is not good for human consumption. The cause of so many health issues.

Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

Leave the cows milk to the calves!!
