Is cauliflower rice good?

Anonymous
No, it's not the same as rice. I like cauliflower but this just doesn't do it for me. I prefer mashed cauliflower.

I like cooking the frozen kind in my air fryer.

I hate it, but I also hate cauliflower.

No.

I toast it in the oven. Adds quite a bit of flavor.

Riced cauliflower is to rice is like pasta zero (mushroom pasta) is to real pasta. It just isn't

Looks like it, but absolutely doesn't taste like it.

I use the cauliflower rice in exactly 2 recipes:
-cauliflower fried rice
-keto egg roll in a bowl

I like the raw riced cauliflower shredded and added to cooked brown rice to make fried rice. It gets kinda toasted and nutty.

If I'm going to serve something over cauliflower, I prefer lightly steamed florets. They make a great base for something like stew.

The boiled or steamed riced cauliflower I find very smushy and unpleasant texturally.

It’s cauliflower. I mix it with rice, about 1 cup rice to 2.5 cups cauliflower to add some fiber to rice, so it mostly tastes like regular rice. Buy it and try, may be you’ll like it mixed with regular rice, or just on its own.

I love cauliflower, but I'm not a fan of cauliflower rice.

I mean it is edible but it isn’t a substitute for rice.

Doesn’t it fly around?

To answer the OP, no IMO.
