You’re doing great for yourself! |

OP, ignore the crazies on here. The AAP says 2 hours/day for kids over 2 years old, but says the quality of the content is more important than setting a particular time limit.

I think it’s fine. Are your kids ok? How do they react when you turn off the screens? Are they happy to be outside and do other things? Are they overweight?
My kids watch little/no tv throughout the week when school is in session. We spend the summer in my home country and they watch a lot of tv here. They watch cartoons in our very old tv (with only a few channel)…. I think it’s kind of cool actually. They probably watch close to 2 hours per day. They also read, do homework, spend the mornings in camps and the afternoons at the beach. They are happy and it’s great. |

Real situation for many, but fake post trying to see how quickly people flip out? Not many people would admit to McDonald's, so much screen time, and dinner in front of a TV. Maybe when the parents are sick, but not on a regular day.
If it's a real post, then yes, that is too much screen time. That's time to be flipping through picture books front the library or playing Legos a little longer or running around outside or drawing with crayons. It's actually really cool to see how much kids' imagination grows once they are not passively taking in screens. |
| Wow, that’s really young for screentime. |

Just like sweets and junk food, we don't make screens taboo /forbidden fruit in our house.
Everything in moderation. |
Mind your business |
| This post is obviously a troll, but whatever we let our kids play screens a lot too. |
THIS. I don't talk about screen time with other parents. Everyone has a different idea of what's "ok". My DD gets 1 hour a day during the week and no real limits on the weekend (probably 3+ hours TBH). I only start to take it away when her behavior becomes an issue |
The lack of self-awareness is amazing. |
I'm not from DC if that helps this make more sense lol. Nobody in my area bats an eye about mcdonalds. They didn't even eat there, we ate before and I bought a drink for myself and got them waters. It was about the activity on a hot day. |
