+1 Wouldn’t be a Republican if they were honest. |
| That's why these reporters need to stop putting GOP on the air. Either call them out, directly, or stop giving them air time. |
Exactly. Call them out or drop them. |
| Wow, a politician not answering a question. This is totally normal for politicians from any viewpoint. Sorry. |
| Hallmark behaviors of just about every conservative I know when confronted with inconvenient truths: They resort to denials, deflections, delusions and rationalizations, anything but acknowledge or admit the truth. Let alone apologize or change course. |

Read between the lines. He's a Trumpster.
If you can't say "Biden won" you have no business being in leadership. |
| He is smart not to answer and just take control of the time/mic. It's a losing proposition to answer. He says yes, no, either way he would be smeared. |
| This is not unusual. It’s pretty routine politics. Though TBH he’s really f&cking soullessly good at it. |
Interviewers need to stop letting them get away with this crap. |
| Would love to see a DeSantis -Youngkin ticket! |
Same. |
That would be the death of this nation. |
|
Now he has lied about LGBTQ protections in VA and VA has dropped in business rankings after being the best state for business the previous two years.

If he touches women’s right/LGBTQ we are out of this sh1thole. |
|
I'd take offense at the evasiveness but then I think about Kamala Harris's blathering, non-sequiturs or about some of our local Democratic officials who just blatantly lie (no different from Trump's Supreme Court nominees asserting that they'd treat Roe as settled law).
I don't want Youngkin in a position to get everything he wants, but he's a useful tool to force the liars and panderers from the other party to exercise at least some restraint. |
