Take out to serve when you have another family or two over?

my neighbor does Chipotle catering. It's cheap but it's popular.

Surfside does a great Fajitas box to go.

Sushi or dim sum. Winner every time!

Big Greek Cafe also has family meals and their moussaka and pasticio are also delicious. You can buy slabs of them if you order through their website and each slab feeds at least 2.

Mama Lucia has lasagna and other items that would work.

Multiple posts on dcum talk about the family meals at big greek cafe. I don’t see these listed on the menu? Are they special catering items?

We do Famous Dave's feasts. The feast for two will feed my family of four and my kids best friends (so four 12-yo and two adults). I add a few things: an extra order of ribs on because there are just not enough ribs for everyone, a 6-pack of corn muffins and 4 extra corn on the cob, so that everyone can have at a corn and at least one muffin.

If we have two families, the All-American Feast works the same way. I add the same extras for the same reasons (exeption that I do a 12-pack of extra corn muffins and 8 extra corn on the cob). This feeds four adults and 4-5 kids 12 and under.

These are great to serve family style and it's

forgot to finish.

...and it's a great deal for the number of people it serves.

BBQ has been a great hit, if people eat meat.

I don’t know Famous Dave’s to know how big it really is, but if it’s a feast for two don’t order one for six people. We have friends who do this constantly and everyone goes home hungry. Their kids eat like birds and everyone ends up taking tiny portions so that there is enough for everyone. They are thoughtful hosts overall but always underestimate food for a crowd. Sometimes the husband comments “wow, maybe I should have ordered more” but does the same thing the next time around.

+1 for Maggiano's

Other options: Chic-fil-A, Momma's Kitchen, Famous Daves

Peruvian chicken and an assortment of sides went over really well when we had to feed a crowd recently (and it was a good value)

Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken and desserts from Wegmans. They have a nice fruit tart for the adults.

We do Indian food from our local restaurant if we're having just a few people over. It's nice because people can try different items, and it works for both veg and non-veg people. We usually order one dish per person with extra rice and naan. Now I know not everyone is into Indian food, but it's worked well for us in the past.

Thai or Lebanese Taverna are good family style

I've had good experience with Lebanese Taverna feeding groups more than 10 adults.

Ask the family what they like. We'd vote pho, pizza, tacos, subs
