Is the state going to lower the bar again so more students pass? |
Fccps sent the scores home on the last day of school. |
My kid’s scores are now in Parentvue. |
Thank you! Ours were there, too! |
Same - anyone know if there’s a way to get alerts if documents are added to your ParentVUE account? Boy that would be helpful! |
Uggg my kids knew the material inside and out. They just aren't good at taking tests....should we opt out in the future? |
Where: In Documents? I don't have anything newer than the MP4 report card (HS level). |
My APS middle school student's SOL scores are posted, but my high school student's are not up yet. |
Usually, APS sends an email a day or two later telling people the documents are there. |
Documents are there for my middle schooler and elementary DC. |
Scores are officially up. Any surprises?
It's my rising 4th grader's first SOL and she did as I expected she'd do based on her overall performance all year. It's good to know she seems to test at the same level she performs, as that's not always the case with kids. |
Well, I’m slightly surprised that my rising 8th grader who never reads actual books and didn’t do that well in English scored a 592 (I think) on reading.
Bummed but it surprised that her score on math wasn’t pass advanced. Nervous about geometry next year. Maybe I can convince her to let me tutor her. |
My 5th grader did worse in reading than I expected. Still pass-advanced, but at the low end. No idea why. They usually score near the max in reading for standardized tests, but not this time. |
My rising 9th grader took 5 SOLs. They did really well in World Geo, Math and science. The two English SOL scores were disappointing though (passed but nothing great). I never tell my kids their scores-- they forget to ask once summer rolls around. |
My 4th grader was the same. Usually max for reading this time barely pass advance. Who knows. |
