Yoga is for everybody and you should absolutely try. It’s such a healing practice, and most teachers/studios are quite welcoming. I’ve been practicing over 10 years visiting studios all over and have never felt judged for not getting or falling out of a pose; most people are focused on themselves. The main thing for men is to leave your ego at home accepting in advance there will be some poses you won’t immediately get and will find challenging. Good yoga teachers will remind practitioners that yoga is a PRACTICE - we’re all learning no matter the level. Go with an open mind, let the teacher know you’re new and have fun. |
