Get a grip. Hans big moment of courage was voting against letting bars stay open an extra two hours, because I guess covid only spreads before 11 p.m. You know what happened after he lost and bars stayed open later? Cases went down and schools stayed closed. That’s not the way he tells it, but you can never trust anything he says or writes.

The guy is a liar. And pretty stupid to boot.

Quite incredible and typical for Riemer, here he is in the Washington Post taking credit for Bethesda Row, which was developed in 2000, almost a decade before he moved to Maryland.

My take on Riemer is that he is basically Dunning-Krueger. Genuinely a dumb guy that thinks he’s so smart to the extent that he thinks everyone else is dumb.

What a softball of a story. It didn’t challenge even challenge him on the most of obvious of lies, like building Bethesda Row.

Another "anyone but Reimer" vote here. The man is part of the problem, not the solution for MoCo.

Hans is polling a distant third. Time for him to give up and endorse Blair.

It’s extremely and pathetically disappointing for the Post who wrote very critical stories about Elrich and Blair to come and deliver this turd for Riemer.

To the extent they pushed back it was passive quotes from Nancy Navarro saying that he doesn’t deserve credit.

Hans is so think-skinned that he didn’t even post the story. The part that resonated for me was the quote about his inability to listen to people who disagree with him. I totally agree with Hans about urbanization, housing, and transit, but his handouts to developers aren’t going to get us there, and that’s his only plan.

The subtext is pretty clear that he is someone that prefers to be divisive and lacks leadership skills.

The guy is sooo sleazy. Just received an “official” email from him, as opposed to a campaign email, which I did not sign up for. The email included a header with a photo and green font which emulates his campaign signs.

The email is supposed to be about official business but it looks like a campaign email.

Imagine giving someone willing to be this sleazy actual power.

Riemer is so terrible that he’s accepting illegal endorsements from IRS-registered charities:

Riemer is so terrible that despite trying to make himself out as the GGW candidate, they won’t even endorse him. LOL!

Why is it that none of the people who should know him best will endorse him?

Please don’t vote for this guy. Both he and this county need to move on. He’s (and Elrich+Katz) are the last holdovers from the bad old days. The sooner this county is able to move on the better. He needs to be humbled by a third place finish so that he doesn’t bother to try and run again.

8. Riemer voted to and successfully defunded police by removing SROs from schools against the wishes of principals and many parents only to create a safety and security mess in MCPS that had to be fixed by bringing police BACK into schools this Spring.

9. Despite (8 above), Riemer has the gall to campaign as the crime and safety guy.

You mean he is franking that at work, on the taxpayer's dime? Kind of like he charges up his car at the county EV station for free?
