First birthday presents

Kids that age are obsessed with putting stuff in and out of bags and bins and containers (like a dump truck) and with transporting their possessions. The kid will be thrilled to put some toys in the truck and drive it around the house. And greentoys brand because those things can take a beating! My twins boys spent a not insignificant percentage of covid summer throwing various GreenToys brand vehicles off the porch onto the cement driveway over and over (they loved it, it wore them out and it required minimal involvement from me).

This is a good one. Another option in this vein is a one of those little plastic grocery carts. Mine were thrilled to be able to travel around with all their stuff.

What’s your budget?

A small wheelie bug is super fun. 🐞🐝 Better than the baby bike my bff got my kid.

Look at the lovevery babbler kit and get a similar toy to one that is in the kit (unless you want to splurge on a kit)

My kid (13 mo) in particular loves the rabbits and felt burrow. As other posters mentioned she loves putting the bunnies in and taking them out again. So any similar type toy is good. πŸ°πŸ‡. She also loves to ball drop and also the peg drop from the previous kit.

Green Toys! This is what I gave my son when he turned one. 2 years later and still a top toy.
