I always peel my cucumbers because I don’t like the wax coating they come with. |
Try English cucumbers -- the ones that come wrapped in plastic. No wax, and the peel is much thinner. |
| I use labne, which is thicker than yogurt. That allows me to worry less about getting all the juice out of the cucumbers. Basic ingredients are labne, grated cuke, pressed garlic, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt & pepper. |

Not sure op what “powder” you were using. Tzatziki is very income to make. Here is a simple recipe:
Grate an English cucumber Let drain a bit (10 minutes or so) Mix with Greek yogurt Press a garlic clove Squeeze a bit of lemon to taste Add salt add chopped dill or sprinkle with dried mint on top A bit of olive oil on top (optional). |
