Suggest a kitchen color combo for me

I'd 100% go bright and cheerful, like yellow or aqua. I have white cabinets but painted my kitchen walls a bright apple green (another color I'd recommend) and absolutely love it. DH was skeptical but now says all the time how glad he is we did it!

DP—that’s gorgeous, so calm and soothing.

For the floor I would choose sheet vinyl— many are hard to decipher from stone or tile.
