Love some of these ideas. Union Market is a great idea, as is the Wharf.

Just throwing out there my family really likes Medium Rare.

And I'll also second the idea of throwing money at Jose Andres. Those are really unique DC experiences, too. Downtown Jaleo is still delicious.
