I need a new series to dive into

Amazon Prime Free - Downton Abbey
Netflix - Lincoln Lawyer (based on the book) (series, not the movie)

NP: Huge fan of The Circle. Frank was on my flight last week from LA to DC! I asked him if he was "Frank", he said "why yes...yes I am " My seat mates were like WHO is Frank?

Wentworth on Netflix is definitely binge-worthy and there are 9 seasons so it will take you awhile.
Jane the Virgin if you want a light comedy/drama.
I have also been watching the My Next Guest with David Letterman and he has some really interesting guests. Not a series, per se, but you can watch them in 1-hour chunks and they are really good.

Hacks - a thousand times Hacks
Also on HBO Max: Somebody, Somewhere and Our Flag Means Death; The Other Two

Or an under-appreciated oldie: The Leftovers

I just started the righteous gemstones after years of people telling me to watch it and it is really good!

Barry on HBO. I also echo somebody somewhere, I read about it on dcum and it is great.

+1

Also to Severance. All the Apple TV shows we've watched have been outstanding: For All Mankind, See, The Morning Show. I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

I'm the one who just recommended Somebody, Somewhere - and oh heck yes to Barry. This season - holy wow. It is INTENSE.

That's super cool! (Full disclosure, I am NOT a Frank fan...though, I wish him the absolute best.)

+ 3 on Severance.

Not my kind of show and when I saw the premise I was like No Thank You. But DH and our neighbors watched it and LOVED it so I decided one night to give it a go. Once you get to episode 4 you are pretty hooked, and then last few, I found myself thinking about how excited I was to get through the work day and dinner so I could watch!

Also am loving, "I Love That For You" that someone else summarized.

I just started Hacks but heard wonderful things.

Older but not as widely seen - Nothing Trivial on Prime. New Zealand show that follows friends from a pub trivia team over the course of a few years.

Anonymous wrote:Starstruck - HBOMax. Comedy about a girl who has a one-night stand with a guy not realizing he's an international movie star, then they try to make a relationship work. 2 seasons. If you liked Catastrophe this is kind of in that vein (without the accidental pregnancy).

Second season was awful.

I strongly disagree. Season 2 was a great continuation and I’m happy to report that it’s been pickup for season 3!

+1 fun show. Other Australian/NZ shows: Offspring, the Heart Guy

Lovesick on Netflix also fun

Echo recommendation for Barry and Hacks. Righteous Gemstones is great too but a very specific kind of comedy.

Oh interesting. Inquiring minds want to know....what is it about Frank that you didn't care for? Just curious, not here to make trouble
