The easy thing with cheese is just to look for a kosher symbol. Any dairy food with that symbol will be vegetarian, and it’s on many brands. |
| My veg kid loves hummus as a snack. With pretzels, pretzel crisps, pita chips, or veggies. There are so many different kinds of hummus too. |
No, because you have to kill the animal to make the gelatin. It's made from skin and bones. |
Pp here-- yes, you are totally right. I just wanted to share about the hunts brand snack packs, because I think it is so cool and exciting that I (a vegetarian) can actually get "jello/gélatine/whatever it's called" in a mainstream supermarket but, as said above, jello brand is not ok!

I bet you are thinking of Jello pudding. |

Get some shit from Trader Joes - pretzels, chips, crackers with cheese dip, the jellybeans, cookies, candy, seaweed, tortilla chips with pineapple salsa, etc.
They have very delicious snacks up in there! They will love it!!!! |
That’s a great tip, thanks. We are veg and we do not eat/prepare Jello or anything with gelatin. We buy TJ’s or Dandies brand marshmallows. I don’t know if my kids have ever had Jello. |
