What's the deal with Carol Danvers switching places at the end? Was that who that was? I'm not a big Marvel watcher, so I never know how many references I'm missing or things I'm supposed to understand.

damage control was mentioned in one of the iron man movies I think. I believe Tony Stark actually created them.
I don't think we know why Danvers switched places with her at the end, at least non comic readers don't know.
