Capital is best for college track, but VA Metro ended up 2nd best option for 2023's with a number of girls committed. In reality, if you target yourself at the correct level, the club doesn't matter as much if you do the other work (camps, contacts, etc). Club helps, but you also have to work and be realistic.

Locally, yes. And even then, you have to be a starter on Capital A team to get into the one of the top 25 D1 (I can't see picking any of the D1 schools below that or over a NESCAC or other great D 3). Take a look at the 2021 Insta posts. Quite a number of NESCAC. You won't see nearly as many top D1 and NESCAC placements from any other local team. The top 1 or 2 MC Elite and Pride players may get offers, but very few. Otherwise, if top D 1 is the goal and you want to expand beyond Capital, you have to look to Hero's or M&D. Good luck. It is not a whole lot of fun by the time you get to sophomore and junior year. Just keep that in mind.

Hero’s Green or M&D Black. The respective white and red teams do not send many (any?) to top tier D1 programs.

Absolutely not! By no means is Capital the only club for the college track.

Sophomore winter and summer after are the most critical time recruiting wise. Most top girls commit to D1 by mid October junior year.

Club tourneys junior year are focused on girls without offers or those targeting d3. Many committed girls don’t travel to out of town tourneys r

VA Metro is good for all Divisions, Pride is, umm.. lets say, still working out the kinks in recruiting. Many on Capital A go D1, but a lot of the B team go D3. If you want D3 you can do the research on the type of school and most of the outreach on your own.

MC Elite has a strong recruiting record and most of the girls are on the field freshman year, testimony to development and coaching. The 23s wanted D3 so no bashing needed. 2022 Michigan recruit is Under Armour All America.

VA one has very little success in getting girls recruited and are never at the top tournaments

referring to club as a whole, plenty of success, this post was about about club success, not a particular age group. If y r a too 5 player at Capital who will
Be a top 5 anywhere. It is the middle players, bottom of bench who need to know what they r getting or could get. Point is Capital is not the end all be all.

They may have good coaching, but they don't play in any of the top tier tournaments. (That said, neither do Stars, VA Metro and several others).


Bottom line is kids get better by playing against better kids in big events.

I read a lot of posters in the past talk about how good Capital B team is. Sounds like they are not getting the D1 talent. Don't need a Capital car magnet for D3 or the hassle that goes with it. Cardinal, VA Metro, 3D, yes VA One can all get D3 looks

Capital Orange (B team) plays in tougher brackets than Va metro in a every tourney they both play in
