Do you go commando in your active wear ?

Same. I mostly wear seamless or "no show" underwear but of course there is still usually a faint line under leggings. I don't care. It's truly the last thing I'm thinking about when I'm working out.

I mostly wear leggings or bike shorts when I work out and I think going commando would be a recipe for a rash or worse. I don't want the seems of my tight workout clothes right up against my lady bits -- it sounds uncomfortable and potentially harmful.

I have always been confused as to why it's so important to people that others not be aware that you are wearing underwear. I wear underwear everyday. I'm okay if you know! It's a neutral piece of information that seems pretty unimportant for anyone but me.

Have you tried chamois butter under bike shorts? That's what pro riders who spend all day in the saddle use.

This. I wear underwear, I don't want anything coming into contact when my sweaty bits sit down on something. Panty lines are overrated, and I need something down there to absorb the sweat and protect me from other people's commando parts at the gym.

We don't exist for your gaze.

Sorry but how is it “gross”? While in my spandex, I go for runs and lift at the gym and hit the occasional solidcore class. Then I throw my workout clothes in the wash. My “lady bits” are fully covered, obviously, and definitely not at risk of touching anything they’re not supposed to (implied elsewhere in this thread).

Maybe it’s a generational thing. Maybe some of you guys need to find better workout gear. Live and let live.

An excellent argument in favor of visible panty lines!

I wear underwear under my leggings. I am at the age where I no longer give a sh*t if someone can see my underwear lines.

I get not caring about panty lines, but isn't it uncomfortable? No undies feels so much better to me.

No that is so nasty.

I don’t. It hurts, something about the way a yoga pant is built. Wish they would just add a panel, so the sewn together legs don’t have a poky part.

I would never have occurred to me to go commando until I recently got some terrible chafing on my inner thighs/groin as I increased my running distance. I considered it, but instead decided to stick with underwear but vaselined up the trouble area. Seemed to solve the issue. And no, I would never exercise in a thong. Sounds tremendously uncomfortable and I don't care at all about VPL.

I've heard the opposite, that some guys are into that. Luckily I don't care, but it is interesting.

no, my underwear are comfortable. I don't even notice I have them on.

Do you warn underwear under regular pants?
