super salty baked goods - what could be the reason?

different salt should be used at different measurements. like Diamond Crystal versus morton's. What brand salt do you have?

and also kosher salt is measured differently from gold old Morton's. Also could someone have dumped a bunch of salt in your flour?

There’s usually a teaspoon to a tablespoon of sugar in breads; I wonder if your children are pranksters and if there’s salt in your sugar.
