The cloud cover and mid-morning rain cooled down the atmosphere enough to reduce chances of severe storms this afternoon. With our afternoon sun and temperature increase, some in our region are sure to see some storm cells later today, but it might not be a widespread event. |

| Op back and I was happy it was a non-event. When I looked at my weather report it said severe weather, tornadoes and Howard County had just closed. Naturally, I wondered if we were going to do the same. At dismissal the skies above my house were blue and the sun was shining! |
