I don’t know about that, ATS staff and families were able to get their start time moved to 7:50 by complaining. |
Are you referring to the outcome of the Bell study? |
Yes |
More was at play (logistics, $) than complaining parents. |
How was money involved? |
So did other schools like Ashlawn, Alice West Fleet, and Swanson go through the same procedure with the families, i.e. seeking their input and holding a meeting with the school community prior to the appointment of their respective principals? |
Is that official? When was it announced? |
Swanson sent out a survey, but did not have a meeting. |
The presentation is up in boarddocs |
Ashlawn sent out the survey about qualities. Then they solicited teachers and parents for the interview committee. The committee interviewed a bunch of candidates and sent their top 3 on to Dr. Duran who made the hiring decision. It was a pretty fast process. |
The principal leaving is a great opportunity to end this wasteful program. |
Sorry about your high wait list number |
I wouldn't be sorry if the ATS program ended, but I don't see how it's wasteful: Every class is filled to the max (or used to be). Seems efficient, even if the program itself is pointless.
Lots of pointless things make people happy. Let them have this. |
Way to support PP point! |
Bu$ing! |
