Crate and barrel sells trash. Furniture delivered already damaged, replacement damaged also. Structural damage, not shipping.
Oh, and they didn't post my review. |
| My #1 favorite: Mitchell Gold Bob Williams, love love love! |
| We have bought recently from Room & Board (but beware that some of their sofas have down only pillows that are not particularly comfortable), Crate & Barrel (the BEST quality, IME), and West Elm (more pretty than substantial, better for accent tables than upholstered furniture, and definitely don't buy a bed or sofa fro them). |
Where do you order? Right from them or another reseller? |
Local furniture store and small regional chains carry both. |
We have a sectional from MGBW that’s held up well after 5 years. We have two Mitchell Gold sofas that are three years old and the cushions have all caved in and the fabric is pilling. I’m already looking to replace them. I think their quality has gone downhill. |
| Room and Board is my favorite. |

Furniture made from actual wood. It is beautiful and will never go out of style. Can also get custom sizes. |

We have a little bit of everything.
Crate & Barrel Mitchell Gold Pottery Barn Restoration Hardware Article Century Bernhardt Bassett Perigold/Wayfair Room & Board Stickley Design w/in Reach Some we’ve had for 20+ years with no issues. We purchased the Stickley and Century pieces from Sheffield. The Rockville store is closed but there’s still a Virginia location. You can sometimes get good deals on floor samples. |
This isn't true across the board. A good amount of their upholstery is made my Lee Industries. That's a top brand. You are probably talking about case goods. |
